Tinyshot is a Chrome extension that saves a part of a web page you choose as one screenshot. It's made by Tiny Micro Mega LLC ("we"), which is responsible for the data described here.

What stays on your computer

• Screenshots and page content. Tinyshot captures only the tab you activate it on, and only after you click its button or shortcut. The images are built on your computer and saved to your Downloads folder. They are never uploaded or sent anywhere.
• Settings. Your capture options are saved in Chrome's extension storage and synced by Chrome if you have Chrome sync turned on.

What is sent for Tinyshot Pro

Tinyshot Pro is sold through Fungies or Stripe (as Link), which handle payment. To know whether you've paid, Tinyshot gives your Chrome profile a random install ID. It isn't linked to your name, your browsing or your screenshots.

• At checkout, the install ID is added to the checkout, and the payment provider passes it to Tinyshot's server with your order.
• To check your plan, Tinyshot sends only the install ID to Tinyshot's server when you start a capture or open the options page (at most every 30 seconds), about twice a day otherwise, and every few seconds while a checkout is open. The server answers with your subscription status, renewal date and order number, which Tinyshot shows on its options page.
• If you restore Pro in another browser, the order or invoice number you enter is sent to Tinyshot's server along with that browser's install ID.
• To manage or cancel your subscription, the install ID is sent to Tinyshot's server, which opens the payment provider's page for it.

Tinyshot's server keeps the install IDs and the status of the subscription they belong to, and nothing else. Tinyshot never sees or stores your payment details or card. Purchases are covered by Fungies' privacy policy or Link's privacy policy, depending on where you paid.

What Tinyshot doesn't do

Tinyshot has no analytics or tracking, doesn't sell or share data, and only contacts its own server, and only for Pro checks.
